1st cycle

Long time reader, first time poster. I'm a 33 year old CPT, and have been lifting/training for almost 10 years. I'm 6'2"/ 200, but can get to 210 when I'm training and eating perfectly. Above that, its going on as fat, period. My genes and hormores seem to limit me at that, and I can understand your dilemma.

SGERTKEN I'm sure you have considered the no-gear option, but you wouldn't post here if you didn't want to try. I would suggest one of the low-dose and/or low-duration strategies outlined here or on other threads as your body is primed for growth.

I would do a low dosage of Sus and throw in some winny the last 6 weeks for at 50 mg EOD for some defanition..You can also run the winny Ed but it being your first cycle I dont see no need

I think most of us ectomorphs (providing you are one) could train hard for 6 years and be lucky to gain 5 pounds of quality mass a year if that. At 6'2" and 205 lbs after 6 years of training (provided you've been training hard and you understand and have practiced good nutrition) you've hit somewhat of a plateau and are looking for something to bump you over. Seeing as this would be your first cycle, a dbol and test cycle would yeild you some really good gains if your diet and training are good. Try dbol @30mg/day for 4 weeks. And the test you could make gains at 250mg/week for 8 weeks. Some people can make good gains on 250mg/week for their first cycle, others have to bump up to 500mg/week. This is a good bulking cycle to use. This yeilded me 30 lbs on my first cycle, I kept 22 lbs. But just remember it is very important to keep your calories, protein and rest of diet just as high for 6 weeks after your cycle as you had during your cycle. Then you can taper down your calories a bit. But your body needs to gradually adjust to your new size so you'll need to make sure that there is extra fuel for it to use. A lot of guys just stop their diets after they just finish their cycle and wonder why they drop 50% of their gains.

5 lbs a year? Learn how to train, and learn how to eat, before you think about looking at drugs.

You are not limited at 6'2" 200 lbs, that's just ridiculous. What are your squat, bench, and deadlift numbers McDurden?

Before you complain about your genetics, let me know if they are worse than this guy's.

Wow, great post.

I'm 6'2" and without the use of juice was able to hold 212# (but being an endomorph) putting on more muscle has not been an issue when I ate my BMR (now 3100) and kept up with my physical demands (45 minute training at high intensity burns at least 500 cal)....

One of the best things I held off on was NO cardio during bulking or adding muscle. I kept the diet reasonably clean so I wouldnt end up being a fat ass.

Haven't heard much from the original post on "what the 6 years of training" entails...that could actually be the key.

Of course you are not limited to just 5 lbs a year with proper training and diet. I'm saying 5-10 lbs of quality mass. Anyone can gain 20 or more pounds a year naturally, but most would not be of quality muscle. I know many guys that have trained naturally for 8 or 10 years with proper diet and training that started at about 170 lbs lean and have gained lean muscle and are at about 215 now. Genetics have a lot to do with the amount of quality muscle mass that you can gain naturally.

test 250mg per week, and possibly deca at 200mg per week. The deca will increase collagen synthesis thus counteracting tests negative effects on soft tissue.

Ever think that your idea of "proper" diet and training might be a little off if you're only gaining 5 lbs of muscle year? You should be able to put on 20 lbs of muscle a year unless you're reaching your genetic limit.
