18g Drawing up Blunt Needle

Hi guys can any one tell me if the Blunt 18g Drawing up needle will perce the rubber stopper of a 10ml vial without damaging it, I have just bought 20 of these on looking at them I see there is no sharp point just a rounded tip. just it looks very wide.?

I only use 18 gauge to draw bro... your fine...

It should be OK, but a lot of people have told me that an 18g can take pieces of rubber out of the stopper on the vials. I always use a 22g to draw myself and a 25g to inject.

If it doesn't have a point then expect it to tear the rubber, i would find some with points before i attempted to expose the gear to air, and don't even think of filing them to achieve a point because you risk contamination of fine metal entering your body even if you steralized it.A Batch of 18G are cheap or you can warm the vial a bit with a blowdryer to make drawing with a 22-25G easier.
