10ml Vial Question

Got some sterile sealed empty 10mls.

Got some flip top lids but they do not fit. If I take the outer seal off the vial, the flip top then fits. This leaves just the rubber on the lid temporarily.

Is this okay to do? Also when I take the outer seal off and leave the rubber, could I just take the rubber off and put the 10ml of juice directly into the vial?

Or is this dangerous? Sorry to sound stupid, but couldn't find an answer anywhere.

Don't worry about taking the rubber out of the sterile vial and putting the juice directly in the vial, you will be fine. Your worried about the sterility of the vial but I'll bet the place you homebrew is not sterile at all... just trying to put this in perspective. I don't understand your question about the flip top lids. You have to have a different set of crimpers for the flip top lids versus the regular metal lids.

You should be ok with taking the rubber off and pouring it into it. Just make sure you don't disturbe the area too much that you're working in. He's right you might have the aluminum crimpers instead of flip top crimpers or you may have a different mm of top.
