good day.....

power clean - 225 x 10 x 0...... i tried and tried and tried... but my technique sucks....1st time back doing it in a long time.

pin suspended gm's - 405 x 3!!!! Biiiiiiigggg PR!!!! previous was 275 x 1.

4 inch rack deads - 275 x 6 x 12.

1 leg roman chair situps - 3 x 12.

pulldown abs - 120 x 3 x 12.

hypers - 3 x 8

depth jumps - 1 x 6.

very hungry now!!!

Very nice suspended GMs. They're a great exercise :)

I would've thought that trying to power clean a weight that is too heavy isn't going to do anything for your technique.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I notice that the heavier I go on cleans, the better my form gets. Good form on cleans is something that makes sense to your body. It's good form because it's the most efficient way to lift a weight, and as the weights get heavier, the body tries to find the most efficient way to lift it, i.e. the body finds good form. That's my experience, anyways. :)
 
That makes sense, but you've got to make the lift to have good form. What comes first, the chicken or the egg? lol
 
great job baby. I thought you did very well today. You never guit on your cleans until you had nothing left..Now thats what I call dedication!!!!

its cool dude........ i completely forgot to put someithing in the post. i was eating at the time and forgot.

the weight was a piece of cake..... my form just sucks completely!!! i have used a continental technique which is where you deadlift it up to your belt then clean it the rest of the way. i have done that with 260.

i can press 225 for easy reps.

i would clean the weight and get all the way down under it, and get my arms under it, then it would just fall out, i cant get the bar back far enough on to my shoulders.

thanks man. i have never done chain suspended gm's before untill a week ago at bfolds...... and i got 495. i have done pin gm's before but it was with the pins set at hip level........ waaaay to deep. and i couldnt get under the bar right. i only got 275 x 1. this time i set the pins at belly button level, and i put the bar in the hooks, so i unracked it, walked it out, then went down..... i really really like these.
