10,000 cal???

Ok...so I'm perusing the last Ironmag and in it is a detailed listing of King Kamali's current daily diet......first of all, it's obscene, 2nd of all, I know he's on volumes of gear, so maybe it isn't all that extreme, but he says his intake is just about 10,000 cals a day....so, I'm thinking.....I gottta try it.....at least for one day......5,0000 cals is my goal.....long story short, today is the first day I can even begin to look at food.......2 days later........I think yesterday I had a few shakes and some water..........no way you could sustain this diet.....no way...........

Ps. I prob. got in 4,800.....if I'm lucky..........

well you have to extrapolate - in his offseason kamali holds no resemblance to a bodybuilder, so maybe a few pints of ben&jerry (1300cals each), plus a few peanut butter sevings (apparently he loves PB - I saw pics where he was nailing container after container) coupled with a few weightgainers - all for his size/mass and AAS doesn't sound all that exorbitant. I know I'd end up in an emergency room if not morgue due to internal bleedings resulting from intestinal collapse from volume overload :o

were you eating all clean food?

Yes, and so was he....for the most part.....it was like 12oz london broil 5x, 6-7 chicken breasts, some pizza, 5-6 potatoes, prob. 10 tbs of PB, gallon of milk.....24 eggs and egg whites....etc....I do recall some ice cream in there and some other junk, but all in all, it wasn't extreme........oh and flax and olive oil by the tub....

I tried it realitvely clean...and 5,000k is very possible to do clean.....your body just has to be primed for it..........

I agree.... Ive worked up to around 6000 a day clean.....Oh how I miss those days. Im on swolgenx now leaning out after 4 years of bulking. Going to drop about 20 lbs. Go from 14% to 7-8%. ........Im hungry :worried:

is swolegenx a diet that you buy or does that just mean you are a consulting client of SwinggCat?

Yes its a diet you buy, but it is from swolecat......The guy knows his shit!
Best money Ive spent since fina.

If anyone's as big as he is, they most def need 10k+ to put some weight on. I'm sure even Lee Priest, who is shorter, downs a bit more than 10k offseason. The max I've gotten in a week's time was close to 7k/day, but I was getting too bloated and figured I really didn't need that much considering I weighed in about 220 at the time.

Show me a layout of 7,000 clean calories...meal by meal...hell, I'd even take 5,000.......let's go.

BOOEY vs. JKurz1
Round 1
Let's keep it clean guys, no junk food and no hitting below the belt

Never said clean .... and anyway, the diet you posted for King is not clean by any means either. Ice cream and pizza? Def possible tho, you'd just drink a cup of olive/flax oil with every single meal. Actually I still wouldn't consider that clean, cus you're fat intake would be higher than protein.

Bran, yes Lee Priest is the man. The fact that the dude eats like crap during the offseason and looks so damn good during competition amazes me. Too bad he's too short to win a major.

For the most part.....I said he was clean....a little za and ice cream.........who knows for real though.....what were YOU eating and how often? Honeslty, I want to learn because I need to up mine to about 3,500.

Yeah, I have a tendency not to believe anything the pros say w/ regards to their training and diet, mainly b/c many of them won't admit to using roids, which is blattantly ridiculous.

As far as what I was eating to get to 7k ... it was a couple months ago, so I won't be able to break it down, but basically what I did was add 4-6 tbsps of PB to each meal, threw in a few tbsps of olive/flax oil in my shakes, and doubled up on the milk. I was drinking over a gallon at that point. The peanut butter was key tho, 2 tbsps = 190cals, so go figure. Also, I downed yogurt by the container, makes me sick to think about. And obviously my main meal portions were bigger, 6oz of chicken became 8-10 oz. Strictly ate every 2 hours, about 8 meals a day.

Overall tho, it wasn't a smart thing to do on my part, b/c I was only weighing 220, and that much food would be more suited for someone in the 250-275 range. Got super bloated, so I cut back down to 4,500/day.

Ding ding ding!! It appears we have a draw folks. I know that's not what you pay your hard earned money to see, but sometimes that's the way the cookie crumbles.

Go home, nothin' to see here

1 jar of peanut butter = about 300g = 1,800cals

3 jars a day = 5,400 cals

add bread to take with, plus something to drink and you can easily reach 10,000 cals

I realize that...but thats not healthy nor is it what he was doing.........I would give serious karma to someone that can spell out 3,500-4,000 clean calories, spaced evenly 2-3 hours apart throughout the day........very curious.

Not gonna get 4k overnight ... need to build up slowly. You can begin by making your portions a lil bigger

Sorry about the grams and such, you can add a protien shake with some flax before bed.

I think thats pretty clean, not sure on the cals/pro/carbs/fat.. add or subtract food to that and you can hit what your looking for. Gives a good idea.

That is one hell of a solid diet, as far as I'm concerned...how many calories do you think it is roughly? I edited it a tad to taylor to my tasts.....you think it'll work?

OK..we arent talking 10K anymore.....I want to take in about 3.5-4K........think this diet above hits the mark? Any changes?

I think it looks good, i'm far from a expert, hopefully someone eles can critic the diet but it looks soild to me, maybe add another scoop of whey after your workout, but i like it so far.

i ate 5000 cals/day clean for about 10 weeks. sure i got great strength and muscle gains....but the fat gains were pretty bad too.
