1 week out pics

Looking DIALED IN! Very nice. I know you noted the pix weren't the best but I'm still gonna comment - I'm wondering if you can get a little more delt cap / "V" out of your back poses - you might try pulling your shoulders up & out on the lat spread. Hard to say if its just the angle of the shot, but you've got such good stuff to show, you need to pull out 1000% of it to show!

Good luck during your last week & at the show.

Which show are you doing?

I'm doing the Bratford show this Saturday. Should be interesting. I'm going to do my level 1 this time and if it goes well and I palce alright and enjoy myself, I might try the Mississauga level 2's in MAy. Then re-evaluate from there. Really hoping for a top three placing though so I can move up. Adn thanks a lot for the kind words. :)

Also, I liekd your advice and will do my best. The posing is what I think I need hte most work on but I'm getting better all the time.

Nathan - seriously - look at your favorite pros or better, the top national competitors & see how they pose to get pointers on the best way to present yourself & ways to tighten up your presentation -- I was at the NPC Jr Nationals in Chicago this summer & I thought it was some of the best competition I'd ever seen across the board - this might be a good place to just see how these guys do it, try the poses, take pix & see what looks best on you -- I'd do everthing I could to get capped delts and a straight line across your shoulders on your lat spread - lat spread is an art form so I understand it is a tough one to really get to look right but when it does, it rocks! I'd also make sure to have your chest up & out, back straight on all your side shots - I think its real easy to hunch over some and focus on doing the bicep thing, but that striaght back, chest up & out really presents nicely.

If you are talking about the guy on the right, he had some sort of disease he'd been battling his whole life and had made it on stage. It is sometimes weird to see verious handicapped competitors but in all honesty it is truly inspiring what some of these people battle to get a decent body. Granted its not your standard "pro quality" body, but the work & dedication are there, sometimes beyond anything a healthy competitor would be able to go thru. For true inspiration, check out any of the wheelchair BB competitors. We all bitch about how much cardio it takes to get down to 6-7% bodyfat - try doing it from a wheelchair.

That makes sense. His leanness is still impressive. Kudos to that kind of dedication.
