1-AD and Allergic Reactions

A while back, when I was 12-13, now I'm 18; I was on Prednisone and had a HORRIBLE allergic reaction. I was one large pimple! My question is would I experience similiar side effects from usage of 1-AD? I realize Prednisone is a corticosteroids , but any time I go to the Doc they're like...he's highly allergic to oral steroids. So should I shy away from anabolic steroids as well?

His doctor ain't gonna know. I would suggest he stay away from 1-AD and 1-test products. They do seem to be allergenic to some people.

Strange though that prednisone gave him such a reaction. Prednisone is usually the prime drug (also benadryl) used to TREAT such reactions

Thank you! My doctor, or 99.99% of doctors, wouldn't know jack shite about it! On the prednisone thing, you hit the nail on the head. The stuff is normally used to treat severe skin irritations(rashes etc.). This was reiterated to me earlier this year when I had a horrible allergic reaction to poison ivy and the doctor thought I was going to have to have my foot amputated. Well guess what they wanted to give me! Prednisone! But, there was no way I could take it! My foot was completely swollen and puss-ie and ewww...anyone wanna see a photograph?

Technically...

It started OFF as an alergic reaction, then I acquired, as my doctor stated it, a staff infection...and it really went down hill from there...

DO one 200 mg dose and see what happens. Have some benadryl on hand.
