1.4B and R-ala safe?

I read a post a while back where a guy said mixing ala and GHB is not safe, even his doctor said this was true.
I have not ever heard any contraindication between the two substances anywhere else.
I would like to take r-ala to prevent toxicity from 1,4B but i am tentative because of reading this. Can any body see a problem using r-ala for this?

I used them together and didn't notice any problems.
