Thanks for the post! I see that you split it up into upper / lower & bis right? Also I see you do lower back work with legs (deadlift). I am not sure about squats and DL in the same workout though (unless alternated refers to each workout and not a form of supersetting :D )
Cheers,

I would like to ask anyone out there who has successfully used an upper/lower split to post their routines. I am going to be training 4x a week and will start a new split with higher frequency, hitting muscles twice a week. I have heard upper/lower is the way to, or slight variations of it in...
much appreciated. You will see I managed to post a thread, called "2 Day Split". The only way I could get it to post is having a very short title (hence the "2 Day Split" and not more descriptive as I would have liked) and very little text. I then managed to paste the rest of the thread I wanted...
WOOHOO! It finally posts after nearly 2 weeks. But as you see I had to post it in small chunks and have a very short topic :( otherwise I continue to get that bloody '30 seconds exceeded' error). Now for the split itself: 2-day done twice a week:
Workout A: Legs, Shoulders, Abs - (Monday)
Squat...
I used to train with a higher frequency, but decided to revert to a more traditional 4-day split hitting muscles once a week. Nice change of pace, but a plateau has been hit and I am not progressing at the rate I was with the higher-frequency split. From experience I respond more to higher...
Hi again,
Anyone possibly know how to solve this? Have tried from another PC now and still no luck. I still get the same type of '30 seconds exceeded' error :(
That support site hasn't helped either - no response yet and it's near on 2 weeks.
Cheers,

hi there,
thing is i tried on a number of pc's, switched internet settings low, disabled AV's etc. with no luck. That site for support is, IMO, useless. Posted the question about a week ago, no reponse.
Hi there,
Been trying all day. Tried throughout last week on 4 different PC's (in case it was some antivirus blocking my posts or something along those lines. Still no luck :(
member having trouble posting....
Test - I have not been able to post for over a week so this is a test to see if anything has changed :worried:
EDIT: For some reason this thread has been posted by the thread I actually wanted to post always fails. Is it because the text is too long?? Mods...
I personally haven't recovered. Impingement syndrome in my left shoulder, clavicle osteolysis in my right shoulder. Neither have healed completely (and that is with 4-5 months completely off, physio, cortizone, deep tissue etc. In both cases the only way they can be totally healed is surgery...
Cardio after weights is one thing - it is perfectly fine if you are doing 15-20 minutes light cardio, maybe 30 minutes if you are pushing it. But an hour? You shouldn't have the energy after weights to knock out an hour of cardio. Rather separate as suggested, or do cardio on off days.
HIIT running kills my knees and shins too. On the bike it's far less effective. However I find that on the eliptical machines it is very effective. Also I prefer VICI to HIIT. You can check it out here:

What I have found after a few weeks of experimenting is as follows:
Back squats are my favorite core exercise. Front squats are good to end off with. The reason (for me at least) is that I cannot go as heavy as if I was doing front squat first, which is good because it tends to hurt my...
stereoman - I assume you mean due to the fact that many people do regular deads for lower back and SLDL for hams, so doing both in one workout would be very difficult. In my case it may be different though as I can do SLDL but not regular deads (old back injury).
