    Smith machines

by having used one, I would think you would be able to understand... but anyway... IMHO a Smith machine is just that, a machine. buy using free weights, barbells, squat bar, your body (and mind) has to really work to lift the weight. You have to have balance, good form and strength. Same case...

Teardrop Inner Quad - How Is It Formed?

VMO? leg extension, start at 45 degrees not 90 degrees, this will keep tension on your VMO, toes potined outward SLIGHTLY, to not completely lock out the knee at extension (top), hold at the top for a few. Start with both legs. Then lower your weight and alternate legs. feel the burn.

    Opinions About Workout Methods

In a nutshell, to build muscle: lift heavy, lower your reps, (I do 5 sets w/1 as w/u highest reps I'll do is 10.), utilize longer rest periods between bodyparts/days allowing your body to recover, changing your program so your body will be continually shocked is good too. Recovery and food...

    I Hate Cardio!!

I dread cardio too. DREAD, I hate it. BUT I like what it does for me, so I think of it this way: "cardio makes my ass look tight and my abs pop out, I love cardio!!!"... I get my favorite music, I wear full sweats and a cap and I only do 25 of HIIT minutes 2x a week, works for me when I hit a...

Adding pilates or yoga into the mix.

Will2BLean, You would benefit from 2 days per week in Pilates, no more than 4. Beauty is, you can accomplish a great stretching, strengthening and leaning program in as little as 30-40 minutes per session. ( I sound like a commercial, sorry) I would cycle the two, Yoga for 6 weeks, then...
