Man, I know what you are going through, I did something to my rotator cuff and the doc says it will take 6-8 weeks to recover. Its frustrating as hell not being able to lift.
Thanks guys that helps me a lot, now I will be able to start doing power shrugs right and hopefully get good results. For some reason traps grow really slow on me but everyone else I know gets them big really fast, hopefully that all will change.
My friend said when you do power shrugs to come up on your toes a little at the end is this right?, and are you supposed to hold it at all for power shrugs or just pull up and relax? Also what is a snatch grip?
right now I am doing madcows 5x5 workout and substituted rows with power shrugs. I was wondering if power cleans build pretty good traps or should I stick with shrugs? Also could someone explain to me the proper way to do a power shrug, I'm not sure if I am doing them correctly.
I actually had this same problem, i think i messed up on my deadlift form on a couple lifts one day and hurt my back so I had to stop doing deads, and squats for 4 weeks now i have started those lifts back up but very light weights.

I was wondering if there was any excersizes I could replace with rows because when i do rows I get this funny feeling it my back. What muscles do rows work? and I thought I read somewhere that you could replace rows with power shrugs which would be ok with me cause I want to get some huge traps.
Ive actually read in one of my books that it is best to train on an empty stomac because when you train after you just ate alot of your blood goes to your digestive system and not to your muscles so when you train on an empty stomac all the blood goes to your muscles.
