    IMO wraps can't be too tight for a heavy squat. the tighter the better for me. if you can bend your leg with out heavy weight on your back you didn't do it tight enough. i can normally get close to 50#'s with just a good wrap

    Well, basiclly a concentric muscular contraction is one where the muscle is shortening against resistance and an eccentric contraction is one where the muscle is elongating against resistance. It's important to have strength concentrically and eccentrically, especially with opposing muscle groups.

    that trapezius upper stretch works for me i do it all the time. also for upper back in general you don't need to hang from a bar or anything you can just extend your arms out forward and rotate your shoulders forward so that your shoulder blades spread and stretch your upper back. that works...
