benched yesterday for first time since mid- NOV:
looks like my endurance stength was more effected than my limit
stength.
could only do 225 for 8 reps (previously had done it 17 reps);
did a fairly easy single with 300... 5 sets or so and quit.
taking it slow n easy.
anybody here have mono with enlarged spleen before? how much did it ruin your strength...Im considering risking death to get back to the fucking weights...
there is no such thing as karma: I never did anything bad enough to deserve this shit. not yet anyway.
personally, I think for the non-gear, non-denim wearing powerlifter some hybrid system of periodization and Westside as
yet not fully evolved will be their best bet for training. Ive been tinkering on it myself.

Bench: around 200 to 365 t&g Raw
Squat: around 315 to 405 for 5 reps nothing but belt on, 470 for 1
with belt & wraps, was easy have 500 in me Im sure, with suit on who knows-- 700? however much those triple ply canvasses give you...
DL: 365 to a damn near...
I made pretty decent strength gains drinking 6-10 beers 3 times a week for a 6 months or so... now I hardly drink at all and have hit some significant plateaus. not getting enough sleep I think.
