    I say you are a powerlifter when you compete in a PL event.. be it specific or all 3 lifts...... And if you want to know how serious of a powerlifter someone is.. ask them about their worst surgery.. if they tell you they've never had one.. I guarantee they are not a serious powerlifter.

    If you're looking to be a BB give HST a shot. I know Brian as we Mod the training forum over at Meso and he's definitly a sharp guy... If you want to be a PL.. I highly recommend WSB.. However, I like to do a hybrid WSB and metal militia training split. As I train in my shirt once a week.

    Training to failure imo is over rated... EMG studies show that muscles are actually workerd harder by training on the threshold of failure rather than to failure and beyond (EG Negatives after immediatly completing a set).
