    difference in diets

Today I did my last carb up before my modelling photo session (which is on Wednesday). On Sunday, Monday, Tuesday I'll be on high fat, low carb again. Should I stop resistance workout? I tend to look nice and full after a workout, should I stop it anyway so to preserve my glycogen? Should I...

    difference in diets

Yes, but something is not clear here: 1) carbup that stars low fat, high carb and later lower the carbs and up the fat 2) start medium carb, medium fat and then up the carbs and lower the fat I think, as DiPasquale says, the answer is in the individual. We are talking about little details...

    difference in diets

Yes Mr X, but that "Metabolism Diet" is just the opposite of what you said in another post. You said to start high carb, low fat and then switch to moderate the fat and lower carbs a bit. I think that maybe the differences between DiPasquale's plan, yours, the Metabolic's or some other's will...

    difference in diets

Guys, in his book "The anabolic diet" DiPasquale says to keep fat at 30%-40% on carb up days, that doesn't seem very low to me.

    GHB in London

Anyway, I already knew about that wesite. Only that I din't (and don't) want to spend $135 minimum on something I've never tried. I asked about its sale in london because I'd have like a small trial first.

    cheat day when cutting

Id like to state that DiPasquale suggests completely different macronutrients ratios than the ones you talk about: Weekdays 55-60% fat ; 30-35% protein ; 5-8% carbs Weekends (36-48h carb load) 30-40% fat ; 10-15% protein ; 45-60% carbs This has been copied exactly as it is from his book "The...

    Is glycerine a carbo?

Anyway, DiPasquale does allow 30g per day.

Is High Sodium intake screwing up Ketosis?

I'd exclude food allergy, as I don't think to have any; also, I'm only eating in bigger quantities what I'd eaten other times. If it was a my own personal reaction or a symptom of adaptment that was going to go away in the future, how can I sort out the problem to look good for my photos...

Ketogenic is making me retain water under skin?

I'm afraid my ketogenic diet is making my lower abs look puffy retain water under the skin. I've read this can happen and the only other time I did a keto I noticed the same. How can I sort thi out? Diuretic? (I'vo got some herbal diuretic caps) Switching to another diet (high protein, low...

Is High Sodium intake screwing up Ketosis?

Hey, I have noted a puffiness on my skin too. I was actually doing a keto only in preparation for a photo show. Do you think I'd better switch to another diet? (high protein, low carbs, for example) I've got some diuretic caps I'm going to use just before the photos, do you think it can sort...

    Is glycerine a carbo?

Seen that 4 tbsp of Liquid L Carnitine have 80 calories, and seen that it seems the only thing in the ingredients that has got calories , and supposed that glycerine has 4g of calories per gram (tell me if I'm wrong), should I assume a tbsp contain 5g of glycerine?

    Is glycerine a carbo?

does anybody know if glycerine is a carbohydrate? I asked ProLab about the carbohydrate content of the Liquid L Carnitine they produce, and they told me that the ingredients are: [/B] Now, I'd like to know where these calories come from and how they affect insuline in relation to a keto.

    obsession with drinking water

It also depends by what diet you're on. On a keto diet you lose water and don't retain it. when I'm on a keto I can drink a gallon without not too many problems. On a high carb diet instead you retain water and keep idrated with less. when on a high carb I find hard to drink over 1,5 l.

    cheat day when cutting

I can relate to what Vageta says. The psychological side is the hardest in anything, and if I'd to live the rest of my life knowing there won't be one day in which I can eat whatever I want, then probable I'd have laready given up. But I'm going to be very strict this time, and for the next...
