    Just another thing to try... I've found that doing romanian deadlifts with a snatch grip takes my lower back out almost completely. Hammers hams/glutes. Plus you really have to work to keep a good arch.

    The latter. I sit on my ass in front of a computer all day, so I have to bring cals down pretty low to keep fat loss moving. I was happy that I could still hit all my previous max weights. Time constraints have prevented me from trying it while bulking.

    I have. I did the full body version, basically one workset per exercise, twice a day. I never felt overtrained or exhibited any symptoms, and that was at a pretty significant caloric defecit. I was very happy with the mass I was able to retain.

    I don't believe in excuses either, I was fooling around more than anything. All in all my height hasn't hurt me as much as you'd expect. My bench is fairly decent, considering where I started. The squat is by far my weakest lift.

    DC vs. HST ???

    I've always looked at DC as HST without the deconditioning. In HST, progressive load is facilitated by the use of submaximal weights. Submaximal weights work because you're deconditioned. In DC, strength gains facilitate progressive load, but at higher weights with slightly less frequency...
