I would wait no longer than an hour after cardio. But for pwo meal/shake while cutting I wouldn't use dairy products. Use two scoops of a protein powder usually 50g or so total and maybe 2 raw eggs if you can stand that with an artificial sweetner.
Yes and it sucks ass! Luckilly they have two floors and I usually go downstairs if stuff is open so I can listen to hard shit. The upstairs part usually plays a gay ass playlist that they buy from some gay ass company.

Just tell her the truth. My wife freaked out at first, but I had her read up and do her research on this site and talk to other people, she has the same respect for it as I do now and is even willing to help inject for me!
