Im bulking atm and progressing nicely! When i lift i try and work between 4-8 reps. Starting off with a heavy weight and getting lighter as i go through my sets. I overherd a pt the other night saying it was better to get heavier as you go through your sets. I had a quick peek at jay...
Just to update. I have responded well to the anti inflam's and my wrist is healing up nicely. Ive been able to keep lifting and have been wrapping my wrist. My guess is in the next couple of months the wrist will 100%. Thanks for all the help guys!
Yeah deffinately important if i dont want a hole in my stomach. Ive been on it for the last 5 days so far it seems to have improved quite a bit im back in my workout routine my wrist is still locking at times which is quite painful but its not aching as bad as it was.
your probably right and it wont help. It just sickens me to watch my hard earned progress go out the window. If it seems to not clear up with the anti inflams then ill have no choice but to rest. But if i can get away with it even lifting light with excercises such as curls to prevent excessive...
i do have dequervain's tenosynovitis they have prescribed me some anti inflam's and if that doesnt work they will inject cortisone. Yay .... atleast i know what it is and they seem to think with the pills ill be able to lift just strap up and should be ok within a few months.
hows your wrist calibro? its been over a month for me.. and its still fucken extremely painful to lift anything. Ive taken the last week off but i dont notice alot of difference. Ive been icing it and also using deep heat. Nothing seems to work.
