    They generally involve about the same amount of musclature, but squats have a longer ROM, so they are generally superior.

    Do you truly believe this? And I love this: Ummm, maybe because the preponderance of resistance-training studies use untrained subjects, or for very short timeframes (<6 weeks or so). But that isn't really the demographic here.

    A little observation...

    Good point about the backswing. The Ledbetter Swing Setter gizmo tries to teach this by encouraging a powerful, yet controlled backswing.
