    Do you have long arms? I have the same issue - heavy low rep rows just tire out my arms before my upper back really gets any benefit. Longer arms can make 'feeling' the back excercises more difficult in my experience, that's why I tend to use DB rows while lying face down on a low incline bench...

    What Zazen said. Make sure to add rows and chin/pull ups in there too. Just don't go doing a combo of cleans, rows and chin ups on deadlift days, they impede each other and will inevitably suck :D

    Glad you are seeing results. Hate to be a spoil-sport, bu this doesn't sound like HIIT though :) Real HIIT for 16 mins if you've never done it before is nigh impossible. Going MAX out for 30sec followed by a 60sec 'rest', then rinse & repeat... no HIIT beginner can manage that for a full 15...

    Look up HIIT, try it but start slow. 2 times a week is plenty if you're trying to gain muscle. Stay away from slow cardio when bulking. A bit of fat gain during a real bulk is normal, but if you really are gaining too much of the soft stuff then you're probably overeating or not eating clean...

    Waking too early - linked to lifting?

    Anyone else ever have this issue? Every morning after working out (between 5pm and 6pm the eve before) I seem to wake up after 6-7 hours of sleep rather than the 8 hours (I think?)     However you take it, my advice is not to take your last dose too soon before sleep, Var really messes with my sleep cycle. So much I always needed to take some sleep-aid with it. Any Var dose later than 1pm and I couldn't sleep properly (even if only turning in at midnight)
