  • Hey Cdub, yeah, I was in NY, with Thands. Had to take care of University stuff 2. Hey, I got one more article I TAd an undergrad class with. Yeah, that Lebron debacle is hilarious, the letter. I understand why, think it's crazy, but still hilarious. Sounded like a cross between a scorned highschool break up letter and mein kampf. Will email that article as soon as i can locate it. Thanx Cdub.
Bro, Tried to PM the article. It's 57,000 words long. Hit me up with an emailaddy, so I can google doc it to U.
Hold on I'm getting an article, you would dig. Entity believers spend their entire efforts defending self esteem, wont' try anything new, and in an effort to validate self esteem, compare themselves to peeps who they percieve as 'less successful' than them.

Increment believers, for some reason, focus on making better efforts to better their own performance.
Peeps don't understand the 'why', however alot of it has to do with the idea that we praise kids so much on what they excell at early, in order to boost self esteem. As a result they don't try anything new, self contract from challenges quicker, and stagnate.
Studies shown, that undergrads with growth/increment mindset vs nongrowth/entity mindset, when they had dysphoria/mild depression. Keep in mind, dysphoria is when activities that reward with intrinsic sensation of happyness, dont' pay off, so you feel numb and weighed down with a heavy, dull internal feeling. The growth mindset, were more active, had higher energy levels, even during dysphoria, which soon passed. The entity believers, stayed in bed, and the dysphoria led to them to withdraw from things that needed to be done.

Just PM'd you the original article, that is the best overall summary of how this 'lay theory' conducts one's life.
    EAT IT!

Good to see ya back brah.
Hope you are ripping it up in on campus.
Chic wise, not even a question.
