Bionic is correct. NSAIDs have an inhibatory effect on prostaglandins. This has a detrimental effect on anabolism. I wouldn't imagine that the effect would not be particularly strong, however this does suggest that you should avoid non-steroidal anti-inflamatories, if at all possible.

I have done some research into this in the past. The literature suggests that most SSRIs have the propensity to increase cortisol levels within the body. This is obviosuly not good for those of us wanting to put on muscle as cortisol is catabolic. This fits in nicely with some of the replies...
