Auburn will make Oregon it's bottom

I hope Auburn shits the bed, I'd like to rub cw's nose in it like you would a puppy when he craps on the carpet.

Oregon is good. I think they can keep it somewhat close, but they aren't going to win. I'd consider betting the Ducks if Vegas gives them 2 possessions.

technically oregon/auburn isn't even offical yet, is it?

obviously its gonna happen, but have the bcs computers even crunched numbers yet?

both are strong second half teams. Oregon is going to have to really step their game back up to where they were earlier in the season if they want to win. If they can get rested up and keep their usual blistering pace up the whole game, and keep defense playing well, they should be able to get the W. As both teams stand right now though, I'd have to give it to Auburn. I hope they lose though. :)

Auburn's line is fucking huge on both sides of the ball. They will have their way with Oregon. Should be a blow out.

Yeah ... that's what I meant when I metaphorically made the "bottom" reference.

I didn't literally mean the Tigers would make the Ducks assume a submissive sexual position.

So basically you're saying Oregon is gonna be Auburn's power bottom?

Bwahahaha

SEC west > Any PAC 10 team

Yea pretty much. What people dont understand is you could interchange just about any SEC team for the title game on any given year and they would probably win, or get damn near close. So any SEC team that makes it to the title game has been really battle hardened by playing in the SEC all season.

SEC teams that could beat Oregon: Auburn, Alabama, LSU, Arkansas, South Carolina ...

wait it'll be easier to list the teams in the SEC that couldn't

Oregon's faced bigger teams all year. Let's look back at how that went for them...oh...right.

The ducks may be small, but they are strong and athletic as hell...on both sides of the ball. :)

That's the beauty of that nimble hurry up offense against a bunch of lumbering, heavy breathing, slow moving giant turds.

lol

Compare their schedules. Lsu, miss st, bama, cocks, arkansas

I might be a SEC homer, but any of these teams would lay wood to any of the other PAC 10 team.

Auburn is a bigger Oregon. Same style of fast paced football.

It's gonna be a great game either way. Im not trying to take away from Oregon. They're one hell of a ball team. I love their style of play. This is the match up I've wanted to see since halfway through the season. Auburn will win by 14.

Bwahahaha

They fucking suck this year. It's all good though. You can't always be on top.

do you even watch college football?
Sure he's the heisman winner. But it takes a team to win.

no way in hell auburns D will have shit on the ducks.

also, anyone with Le in their name possesses Godlike powers of supernatual athletic talent.

Ducks > Auburn + I'm about to own you in the EF fantasy FB league

LOL @ it takes a team to win when talking about two undefeateds.

and even more LOLz @ you beating me in that league. Have you seen my team?

Now iggy will witness the firepower of this fully armed and operational SEC team.

down year for the sec..they arent as far ahead of everyone else as past years

and yea i dont agree with that.auburn & bama i would take over oregon probably..rest of those teams i would take oregon over any day of the week

other way around bor..

auburn -2.5 and rising .. prob -4 by gametime

Not what was said Saturday night on ESPN, "Ducks a two and a half point favorite". I about fell out of my chair when I heard it.

but then again it was apparently just the MGM Grand's early line

Gator fans should be banned from this thread.

that's because 60% of our team from last year is on NFL rosters.
and not just on NFL rosters, making serious contributions.
everytime i watch multiple games or the redzone channel, i see another gator from this or the previous draft class making impact plays. unfortunately several of those are for the patriots :(

had to reload the guns.

Me and CW can always agree on The Gators. Also AUburn will smash Oregon, fuck the Pac 10 and all those other sissy ass confrences

The Big10 is sportin 3 teams in the top 10 this year...

just sayin'

kinda a scam cause there is no big ten champ game.
which this year would've pit OSU against MSU...one loss teams, one would've walked away with two loses and definetly would've dropped out of the top ten standings
jus' sayin'

You don't even live in Florida.

aren't you a clemson fan? lol!

I lived in J'ville for three years nugga and no that hat is not a Clemson hat, it's a Jaguar hat for my kids school nugga, get yo shit strait.

sec is weak this year..auburn is the worst team to win the sec title in years..1 man team with little else ..rb dyer is good and farley on the dl is nice..

usually the sec winner has like 7 or 8 projected pros on the team.. auburn got like 2

problem is oregon isnt the type of team that can expose auburn imo..u need to be a good defensive team and have a great passing game to beat auburn.. both opposites of oregon..auburn got one of the best run defenses in the nation and one of the worst pass defenses

too many people drinking the auburn koolaid... this isnt your typical sec champ.. this team has alottt of holes

i hope that spread starts to climb higher so i can jump all over the ducks !

Ducks aren't your typical PAC-10 ten champ.

The PAC-10 was GOD AWFUL this year. Standford was the only other decent team, and it definitely helped them playing all those junk conference games.

2 Pac-10 teams in the top 5. More than any other conf. teehee!

;)

Auburn's secondary is suspect.

The best D's in the SEC could stop them all year though. Sure, they won some close ones and came back on a few teams from a big deficit.

What they did in Tuscaloosa was one of the greatest comebacks I've ever seen in any sport. No other team in the country could have made those adjustments and did what auburn done. Fuck, no other team in the country could win in Tuscaloosa. Even though bama was down this year.

That boy Dyer is a fucking freak too. Especially to be a true freshman. Him and Lattimore are gonna be monsters in a few years.

Look at their out of conference games. Sure, Oregon beat Tennessee's ass and Stanford beat a horrible as usual notre dame team.

Not saying Auburn's out of conference games were any better, they weren't. Look at how strong their conference is though. Ask anyone in the know and I bet 9 out of 10 will agree the SEC west is the toughest division in CFB.

Insert Oregon and Stanford into that mix and each would still have an L or three. Insert Auburn into the Pac 10 and they run the table.

Sure Auburn has a high scoring offense. Almost as high as the Ducks! Auburn D has allowed more points against as well. On paper, Ducks look better. On the field, Ducks have looked better for most of the season. They started playing sloppy towards the end, with an embarrassing close win against Cal (at Cal though), and a messy win by 17 (not close) against Oregon State, but then again Auburn had at least 4 close games, with 3 being against unranked teams at the time.

If Oregon can play like they played the first 3/4 of the season, I really like their chances. If they stay sloppy, Auburn will take advantage.

We can argue statistics and all the other BS until we're blue in the face.

Bottom line,,,, this is the match up I've been wanting to see since midway through the season. It's gonna be a sick ass game.

Btw,,, I called Newton for Heisman in the Auburn/LSU K bookie event thread. Not that it matters any, but I thought I'd point that out ;)

so you're telling me that oregon would have had 3 losses with auburns scedule?? lmaoo u must be kidding ..auburn played every tuff team at home !! every team ..their road games consisted of kentucky, miss st & missippi ..missippi and kentucky suck!!
miss st is decent but not a top 15 school..
they had 1 GREAT win on the road and it was alabama .. auburn had the EASIEST scedule in the Sec by farr or they would have lost also

they came back because bama blew to many chances in the 1st half .. bama should have been up about 35 pts ..3 times inside the 10 yard line and they got 3 pts out of it ... 2 fumbles & field goal ..bama dominated the 1st half
no mistakes and the game was over .. no way auburn was comming back from 35 pts down ..bama had that game won and blew.. they gave auburn a chance to come back and they did

im not sold on the duck either..

i just think auburn is wayy overated..team with many holes
im not even sure who im going to bet..but this is a down year for the sec for sure

the texas team that bama beat last year would kill auburn.. and the sooner team the year before that lost to florida as well ..if they were playing an out of conference opponent as good as these teams i would bet against auburn for sure

No, I'm telling you Oregon would not be in the national champ picture if they played in a for real conference. The Pac 10 might have two teams in the top five, but those are the only two teams in the conference worth a shit. They might as well be the WAC or Mtn West.

boise st would beat auburn and oregon 2

lol@Boise State

Let me know when they join a real conference.

To SL, any conference other than SEC is not a "real conference".

SL, you know the Pac-10 is called the Conference of Champions, right? As a conference, they have won more NCAA National Team Championships than any other conference. The top 3 schools with the most NCAA Championships are Pac-10 schools bro.

You're probably only thinking solely about football, but you didn't specify that. You just said "conference" so I'm taking the opportunity to let you wear egg.

HTFH

:D

If SEC is the only real conf how come they always get busted up in Bowl Games and out of conf games?

Bullshit :D

I like the big 12 and the big 10 too. I can't help but be a sec homer. I've grown up watching sec football. It's just my thing.

I rarely ever watch any pac 10 football. I will not deny the talent that comes from the pac 10. I will not deny Oregon is a bad ass football team either.

In fact I'd be tickled pink if Chip Kelly was UF's coach next year ;)

Maaan, this would be a great year for a playoff. I'd love to see Stanford and Wisconsin get a shot at the title. How much excitement would that generate? As it is, there is a ton of crappy match ups in the bowl games. I predict a lot of blow outs.

i've got three cases of beer, a bottle of jaegarmeister, and $125 bucks riding on the ducks.
