the point i was trying to make is that this audience wasn't a bunch of loggers or lumberjacks or what-ever-the-fuck you wanna call them...these guys (and they were ALL guys) were lumber millionaires/billionaires, most of whom don't know shit about the actual act of "logging" and, she was talking to them like they were a bunch of wood-hicks...these are guys that sit in hand-sewn leather chairs in fine wood and fine italian marble offices...they aren't "lumberjacks" or "loggers"...they're high-powered businessmen that "commute" in lears and gulfstreams.

Barry and Palin are a great contrast.

Barry's infinitely more smooth and buttoned-down than Palin, but has all the wrong answers. Palin is wrong-headed on social issues, but gets high marks on political and fiscal issues.

Kind of find it strange that the Alaska Miller she is endorsing won't even turn around and endorse her when asked if she is qualified for office.

It was an amusing read to hear about the little hissy fit she and Todd threw over that.

Not to mention the majority of her OWN party do think she is qualified. But hey.... Obama endorses Palin for 2012-2013.5

And yet, if someone put Palin's economic and political positions in bullet point form in front of most people on this board, they'd agree with at least some of them.

The messenger is definitely not my preference. And I'll agree that she may be getting her positions spoon-fed to her by others. But look at the bullets I posted earlier regarding her publicly-stated positions. Which ones do you personally disagree with?

Would you rather have an investment broker who simply regurgitated other people's advice but it was good advice, or a brilliant investment broker full of wrong-minded positions?
