My dog has Lyme Disease

My Black Lab started having seizures in December out of nowhere and he is ten years old. I took him to three vets and spent about 2k on tests and shit and the vets kept saying no problem and it was a fluke....then he had more. Again no one could find shit. I take him to my vet for an exam and they do yearly blood work and find he has lyme disease. I could have choked the fuckers.

I live in the country and hunt with my dogs. My vet and the other 2 I saw all know this. They never thought of it???????

I am pissed at them and sad for my dog. I hate people!

That sucks bro, i hate that for you. Do you use frontline or any other flea and tick meds? I havent had a problem since i put my dogs on a good dependable flea and tick.

Yah bro, I do. And it doesnt keep them off. All my buddies had the same problem the last two years as well.

Must be those little tiny deer ticks. i hate them, size of a fucking pin head. Scary, ticks are fucking nasty.

The seizures should be controllable with the right meds/food. My brothers dog who just had a brutal one last night, gets them about once a month rather than weekly like she used to. I wasn't sure she was gonna make it out of this last one though

My dog was "lime exposed" a few years back.
She just started limping around and hardly ever got up, even for food! So I knew something was wrong.
Started her on AB and Glucosomine and she was back to normal in about 2-3 weeks. I use joint enhancer from 800petmeds everyday to help her joints as the lime can really put a burden on the dogs joints.

Get on the anti biotics asap and glucosamine joint enhancer
