I didn't like them at all in the '80s, but I think Hall & Oates songs have weathered the ravages of time surprisingly well.

And Daryl Hall had a great set of pipes.


Same thing for Inxs. In the '80s I dismissed them as frat party music. Now I think those songs are great.

Never used to be like that. The screwball romantic comedies of Howard Hawks were sublime when dealing with gender expectations (Hepburn and Grant, etc.).

I dated a girl in college that always did lap dances for me. The first time she did one she played maneater by Hall and Oates. It was very surprising to say the least. By the way she was my age.
