Hey, let's not make this an excuse to post ant politically biased statements. With all the fuck ups going on at the time Bush made a state of the union address talking about "the scurge of steroids" so it's not like one side is any better than the other.

I think it was a legitimate response since a democratic president + House and Senate = bigger government. That is not debatable and shouldn't have been interpreted as a political argument.

Its getting impossible to post anything on here lately without someone reading more into it than there is, and/or trying to make an issue out of nothing. I posted a comment based on my opinion and it was not political. I can state my opinion, can't I? You're the one making it political by refering to "fuck ups" of the Bush administration and sounding very partisan/Pro-Obama by doing so. For the record I don't like politicians PERIOD. I'll clarify my comment by saying it was Anti-Big Government and NOT political. If I'm reading you right, I take offense to you basically telling me what I can and cannot post and giving me what amounts to a smack down. Especially Nelson, seeing as you are one the most opinionated guys on here. I don't tell you what to write. Its not my intention to make a political statement. The FDA (the Government) just strong-armed a company into destroying 1.3 million $$ of product and I think its wrong. Thats my point.

One: It's fine to have an opinion ABOUT THE TOPIC AT HAND. You, were offering an opinion on the current administation. That launched it IMMEDIATELY into a political discussion.

And yes, those opinions are not allowed on this forum. (Notice how you didn't like what I said about Bush? ) That wasn't to go tit for tat, but to show that it isn't an issue favored by one side or the other. You clearly said "IT"S GOING TO BE A LONG 4 YEARS" That is flatly, plainly, and blatantly an anti-Obama political comment. And there will be people who will disagree and/or be offended by it. And then we'll have a debate that has no place here.

Personally, I'm apolitical. Sometimes I vote Dem, sometimes I vote Rep. But I don't trust any of them.

This is silly. This is so far off base from what I was saying its not funny, but I apologize if you, or anybody misunderstood me. My comment is no more political than your comment "Your tax dollars at work", which could be interpreted as an attack on the head of the Treasury (an Obama appointee). You want my comment on the FDA? Here's my comment on the FDA; They are a bunch of appointees and hacks with an agenda. Rather than doing something really productive for the welfare of the people, they chose to put on a show and bully a company into destroying products that were not even proven to be dangerous. This, when they should be going after the real bad guys and tackling real issues. Look at Cheerios! Give me a f**king break. Do you really think anybody feels safer because they are ordering General Mills to change their labeling on the benefits of oats? What's next, order you to change the claims of the benefits of Unleashed? Hell, why not? Its got oats in it. This new FDA is out of control and they are just getting started. That's why it is going to be a long 4 years. Got it?
