T4 Help ?

Nothing is safe! Especially when it comes to messing with your thyroid.
Most people don't know what the thyroid is, what it does, or what can cause it to malfunction. Let me see if i can help clear up the mystery. The thyroid is a gland similar in shape and size to a bow tie, located in the front of the neck. It should be small, soft, and smooth. Its job is to help control the many functions of the body including: weight, energy levels, water balance and heart rate. It does this by secreting thyroid hormone(T4). The brain senses how much T4 is in the blood stream and then secrets another hormone called TSH that tells the thyroid whether it's making enough T4.

Hypothyroidism occurs when there isn't enough thyroid hormone for the body to work properly. Common symptoms include fatigue, weight gain or difficulty loosing weight, swelling of the legs, feeling cold, or menstrual irregularities. These symptoms also can be due to past inflammation or infection, medications, previous thyroid surgery or treatments, or autoimmune disorders where the body reacts against the thyroid.

In most cases treatment is fairly simple. testing for hypothyroidism by checking the TSH. When the brain senses there is not enough T4, it releases a lot of TSH to induce the thyroid to make more hormone. When the test shows a high TSH level, it indicates the thyroid is underactive.

Thyroid hormone can be taken as a pill and may need to be taken indefinitely to restore the thyroid hormone balance. .

If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, you should discuss them with your doctor.

You do realize that the site this cut and paste is from is talking about the PRE-EXISTING condition of hypothyroidism.

Using T4 with a healthy thyroid short term for bodybuilding/fitness/physique enhancement is completely different than what they are discussing.

Using T4 for a short term period, 8-10 weeks, is perfectly ok. When stopping T4 use - or even T3 use for that matter - your own thyroid starts back up on normally levels within two weeks. T4 is more desireable for the average user because in order to work, it must first be converted into T3. Unlike taking straight T3, where too much can actually cause muscle loss, your body will only convert the exact amount of T4 that you need. Never extra. More importantly the actual process of converting the T4 to T3 is especially beneficial for people that are incorporating GH in their cycles as well.

I have used T4 many times and my thyroid is still perfectly healthy. I use 200mcg daily when not using GH and when I am using GH I use 300mcg daily.

AAP! I agree with what you are saying, all i'm doing is posting info ,especually when it comes to messing with The thyroid! Thats just my opinion!

And again what your are saying is mute, (I am sorry) But everyone is different, different goals, levels of health, I like to keep everyone safe- Members gather up all info before you use compounds like this.
And by the way ,Why not try OMEGA'S Fat burning stack before you go exhausting other means before you start screwing with the thyroid!
Thats my say!

Never used slin before. But do use T4 with my HGH when I run it. Most people I know that use insulin personally run T3/T4 or Armour Thyroid along with it.

But they also run HGH as well with the slin too.
