lol i used to work in augie dog a few years ago. club christophers across the bridge. i talked to the owners the other day and they are behind 5 months on the rent.... they said the police set up a DUI checkpoint right outside the bar so people are afraid to come. that blows....

I seriously thought about riding my horse to work at my last job (which was much closer to my house). There was a trail that went almost direct, but i'd have to trailer the horse to the point near my house- it was too far on the road and if I went over the mountain, there were some rough areas.

woulda been fun though.

A few months back in the midst of the gas crisis the local news made a big deal about a group of high school kids riding their horses to school. I thought is was a good idea and they looked as if they enjoyed themselves. Of course there are not many mountains here in Florida. If I had horses and it was a convenient means of transportation I would ride out. Hell, I might buy a buggy and rock it Amish stylie.

That's shitty. Those St Johns county cops can be dicks. They have nothing better to do than set up speed traps and fuck with drunk tourists lol.
