Actually, Depo-Test would be good for cyclists, sprinter, etc. It will help you with muscle mass and give you increase RBC's in your system. It can add extra mass that you may not want.

I just did a bunch of research on this at another board - guys like Nandi, Monkeyballs and Miggy are experts on this stuff.
Fonz has a killer endurance stack that blows away most - he also inlcudes var and masteron i believe.. w/ tren.
1. EPO is the king if you know what your doing with iron, etc..
2. Actovigen works with EPO to increase blood oxygen carrying.
3. Some of the reason endurance athletes have low test is due to testicular trauma on the bike ED.
4. Only small amounts of test are used for recovery.
5. Winstrol, EQ and Deca are common on top of test in small amounts - as long as yor not tested, test suspension is good day of race and day after race.
6. GH is the main thing in the euro peloton - ask Richard Veranque
7. Vit B inj. are the way to go.
8. Any large amounts of roids will only make you too big and heavy.
9. Cortisol supression may be bad (can't burn muscle for fuel)..
10. Stimulants are good but only E and Caff. Clen only marginally helps - Ogrady got busted with Clen a while back.
11. Corticosteroids are a staple of any tdf athlete.

I saw an expose with a french cyclist a few years back. The picture he painted of performance enhancement drugs was worse or at least as bad as body building. Here's this 110lb french men talking about using all kinds of steriods as well as insulin, HGH, IGF1 and of course EPO. If any of what he says is correct drug use in cycling is crazy and the sky is the limit.
It seems like some test and a mild anabolic like var would be a good starting point. Obviously you will want to stay away from drugs like d-bol and anadrol which can lead to uncomfortable pumps, as well as drugs like winstrol which can cause joint pain. I'd say deca if the detection time was'nt so damn long.

I think most test would do the trick. Cycling is anerobic for the first maybe 30minutes or 90 seconds for sprinters? After that your into carbolysis and aerobic aren't you? Most test increases rbc's and that gives you more oxygen which increased endurance and promotes faster recovery of the muscles. Both aerobic and anaerobic use atp but aerobic is more efficeint. I think the v02 max of the individual will play a key as well. the higher the vo2 threshold the better latic acid is removed and a constant flow of fuel can be readily supplied. I think creatine, 02, glucose storage and some other nutrients are all increased while on a test. I would think bigger leg muscles wouldn't be a bad thing. They take more fuel but can hold more as well when using test. I'm a bit rusty on the the anaerobic thershold stuff so I could be wrong.

I am by no means an expert but just sitting down and thinking about this...this is what I could conclude. First of course as an endurance athlete is to keep weight to a minimal so you do not have to worry about lugging around alot mass. So there is part of your answer...use a steroid that will not increase size drastically...like anavar for example....second thing is using something that would increase protein synthesis and speed up recovery...maybe some primobolan. In my opinion (i am no expert at this)...I would say primobolan, anavar, and winstrol would be your best bets. No experience with this...just wanted to put my two cents in...you could try emailing a great strength coach like ian king or charles poliquin and asking them...even john berardi try him...yeah go to www.johnberardi.com he is very knowledgeable...good luck and let me know if you find anything out...i am curious myself.

corticosteroids???? That doesnt make any sense at all. They are for inflamation so the only way I can see them being a stable is for chronic injuries. The inflammation reduction caused by them hampers healing and they suppress the immune system and make you hold water.
