I am 26yo 6’3 218 in the beginning/middle of a cut, currently about 12/13% BF. Last cut got down to 204 in the Fall before bulking up to 240. I started testosterone about 2-3 months ago through an online clinic. Initially with 140mg/week subq, twice weekly injections (clinic’s directions). After about 3 weeks I switched to IM 200mg/week, twice weekly injections (I hated the subq oil nodules and knew eventually needed IM for higher volumes anyways.) I ran that for a month just make sure no sides, have always had clear skin so didn’t want acne flare ups by jumping the dose too quick. Started 250mg/week about 2 weeks ago, inject every 3-4 days. I only pin my side delts right now with a 27g 1”. Easiest spot to pin, and to be frank, have always been scared to do a quad IM and have heard ventral glute is real technical to pin correctly. I am looking at starting my first cycle with the idea of Test only and slowly titrate up every 4 weeks to see how I respond. I am running Test Cypionate, but forums and one of the ebooks someone linked on here talk more about Test-E.

Just looking to get advice as I’m clearly an amateur to this and want to focus on the longevity of staying on Test without blowing through bloodwork and having to completely off temporarily. I’ve seen mixed opinions on pct, I want to have kids eventually, so I currently run 250iu of HCG twice a week (and have done so since first starting test). I train 5-6 days a week, usually 6 days a week just depending on body and recovery. Most commonly run a variation of PPL with usually a 3 on 1 off split. Daily protein is averaging around 220. Some days I’m lower around 180 and will increase the following day’s protein to around 260. I have been training for about 11 years, with 8 of those years being intense training in a commercial gym and not just bsing my way through high school sports lifting.

Test is test at the end of the day, E,P,C,D or sus. It's all the same at the end of the day.

I feel test e, c done daily is best so smooth and keeps injection volumes low, especially so you can run insulin syringes

In my openion you've started using you should blast/cruise. Run products like hcg, hmg to keep fertility.

I think you would also benefit from running hgh as well.

Use bio identical compounds before pushing steroids. If I could go back I would do it this way.

I only pin 1” since it’s delts. Would you recommend switching to 1.5 for lats, quad, and ventral glute? Start HGH 1 IU a day and work up to 2 IUs a day? I run HCG 250iu twice a week right now. Do I need to bump that up and/or start HMG? I’m not trying for kids right now, but would like them in the future. When I complete this first cycle, should I run pct or just lower weekly test to 150-200mg and continue with hcg

I would suggest 3.33iu's hgh to start

I just use insulin pins everywhere I'm lean I don't need the big needles only time I use them is if my single dosage is over 1ml at a time

As @Demon_throne said, insulin pins, test and hgh are a great starting point and @the_alcatraz also mentioned blood work, which is real critical when on cycle. There are plenty of sites that show how to pin and the different sites you can use and sorry no pct advice from me, with 4 kids my baby days are over….

The only reasons I can see to not use slin pins for injections are if you are fat or if the shots are over 1ml. It's for that reason for my upcoming cycle I've broken everything down to daily.

Yes got baseline bloods a little over a year ago before starting enclomiphene and peptides. Check E2, total test, free test, and CBC every 4-8 weeks depending if I changed anything. I run a full panel every 6 months. Everything has looked good in the past, just got labs done a few days ago after being at 250mg for a few weeks before bumping up

The typewriter looking labs are from mid December 2025 and included some of the labs on there that weren’t on the March 6 ones. December labs I was still on enclomiphene and in the process of stopping enclo for test

Weekly Update

This week marks the start of tracking my calories and macros (previously was just mentally counting), began tracking on Sunday. After a couple weeks at 250mg/wk of Test, I bumped to 350mg/wk on Sunday to kick off the cycle, hence why I decided to lock in and physically track macros. I began 2 IUs of HGH last night, as some of you recommended it on this post and on others. I plan to run it 5 days a week for the next 4 weeks and assess from there if I want to increase the dose or keep as is/stop.

Calories & Macros:
  • Daily calorie target: 2,200 kcal/day
  • Weekly average(since Sunday): 155g carbs, 67g fats, 240g protein

Training Split:
  • Push (chest emphasis)
  • Pull (back emphasis)
  • Legs
  • Arms
  • Repeat (rest days as needed)

Next Steps:

I’ll be introducing a detailed breakdown of my lifts in future updates. For now, the split remains a push-pull-legs-arms cycle.

Current Cycle:
  • Test Cypionate: 350mg/week (100mg every other day)
  • HCG: 250 units twice a week
  • Reta: 2.5mg/week
  • HGH: 2iu (5x/week)

Finishing up an old vial of Test and will crack open DS’s Test next week. Hgh reconstituted clear and was an easy injection with no skin irritation. Looking forward to using up these vials and how my body responds.

Attached picture from bloods about a week ago, 4 days after last injection of 250mg/wk before starting 350mg/wk. DIM & Calcium D Glucarate were great at keeping my e2 low and within range when I was on enclomiphene for a year, so sticking to that method for now (along with the eod injections to keep sides stable). Get bloods done end of this month.

Don’t currently take any digestive enzymes, probiotics, or psyllium husk. Haven’t heard of psyllium husk before this forum, is this a health supplement you would definitely add in?

I suspect even using HCG staying on and not doing a PCT etc is a mistake. I'd like to see a fertility test report
Finishing up an old podcast (#222) on fertility. Don’t need fertility right now, but will need it in 5 years or so. I assume no point in getting a fertility test at the end of the cycle while still on test, best to wait til I do a pct protocol for a while and then test? Most of what I read and watch mentions to pct to save fertility, but of course there’s a mixed bag of everyone’s opinion on the right pct protocol.

@Tomandjerry if you want to have kids and you want a cycle, the key is going to be keeping your cycle short. That's going to be the most important thing. If you're gonna stay on a TRT dose and cruise then that's not going to help your fertility.

Bros, Tom and Jerry used to be one of my favorite cartoons growing up. Obviously you are a big fan. Good to see you on here. You should find more injection sites to pin because you don't want to depend on just a small amount of area as you'll develop scar tissue. @Tomandjerry

So your advice is run a cycle, run pct protocol (about same duration as cycle), then rinse and repeat I take it? So cycle between a moderate blast (in my case) and pct. Is there any point in running a cruise dose of 150-200mg/week after finishing pct or in my case with keeping fertility in mind, should I only run test when I want to run a cycle.

Started pinning quads this week, but so many mixed reviews/stories about pinning quads that I’m not sure I’ll keep quads as an injection site consistently. Lots of recs on glute/ventral glute, do you recommend a certain spot or just “upper outer quadrant”

you'll get great results on domestic supply products. It's going to be a lot of fun following this. @Tomandjerry Just keep in mind HCG will only do so much. At the end of the day it's about how long you keep yourself shut down.
 
Attached picture from bloods about a week ago, 4 days after last injection of 250mg/wk before starting 350mg/wk. DIM & Calcium D Glucarate were great at keeping my e2 low and within range when I was on enclomiphene for a year, so sticking to that method for now (along with the eod injections to keep sides stable). Get bloods done end of this month.

Don’t currently take any digestive enzymes, probiotics, or psyllium husk. Haven’t heard of psyllium husk before this forum, is this a health supplement you would definitely add

I am 26yo 6’3 218 in the beginning/middle of a cut, currently about 12/13% BF. Last cut got down to 204 in the Fall before bulking up to 240. I started testosterone about 2-3 months ago through an online clinic. Initially with 140mg/week subq, twice weekly injections (clinic’s directions). After about 3 weeks I switched to IM 200mg/week, twice weekly injections (I hated the subq oil nodules and knew eventually needed IM for higher volumes anyways.) I ran that for a month just make sure no sides, have always had clear skin so didn’t want acne flare ups by jumping the dose too quick. Started 250mg/week about 2 weeks ago, inject every 3-4 days. I only pin my side delts right now with a 27g 1”. Easiest spot to pin, and to be frank, have always been scared to do a quad IM and have heard ventral glute is real technical to pin correctly. I am looking at starting my first cycle with the idea of Test only and slowly titrate up every 4 weeks to see how I respond. I am running Test Cypionate, but forums and one of the ebooks someone linked on here talk more about Test-E.

Just looking to get advice as I’m clearly an amateur to this and want to focus on the longevity of staying on Test without blowing through bloodwork and having to completely off temporarily. I’ve seen mixed opinions on pct, I want to have kids eventually, so I currently run 250iu of HCG twice a week (and have done so since first starting test). I train 5-6 days a week, usually 6 days a week just depending on body and recovery. Most commonly run a variation of PPL with usually a 3 on 1 off split. Daily protein is averaging around 220. Some days I’m lower around 180 and will increase the following day’s protein to around 260. I have been training for about 11 years, with 8 of those years being intense training in a commercial gym and not just bsing my way through high school sports lifting.



I tried to put as much detail as I could to start this log off. The pictures I attached are towards the end of the last cut (September 2025).

@Tomandjerry test cyp and test E are the same thing. The only difference is the half-life. It's literally a two-day difference so it's not even going to be affected by anything.
 
So your advice is run a cycle, run pct protocol (about same duration as cycle), then rinse and repeat I take it? So cycle between a moderate blast (in my case) and pct. Is there any point in running a cruise dose of 150-200mg/week after finishing pct or in my case with keeping fertility in mind, should I only run test when I want to run a cycle.
If you want to help preserve your Fertility & Testicular size while on your cycle then take Hcg Monday, Wednesday, Friday or every second day for the entire time while you are on your cycle.

Taking Hcg in this way will also give you the best possible PCT outcomes when your cycle finishes.

After your PCT finishes if you choose to run a cruise dose of Testosterone then you will be running TRT which will then cut of your body's own natural supply of Testosterone which will render the reason why you did PCT in the first place obsolete.

Yes but make sure you confirm things with sperm testing and blood work after each cycle in PCT.

Started pinning quads this week, but so many mixed reviews/stories about pinning quads that I’m not sure I’ll keep quads as an injection site consistently. Lots of recs on glute/ventral glute, do you recommend a certain spot or just “upper outer quadrant”
Bros, if your body is okay with those types of injections then go for it. You want to hit the peak part of the quad and avoid veins.
 
What do you mean the peak part? Get a little pip from quad injections where if I have legs the next day I have to change workout schedule around to give it another day, but assume quads get used to it after a few injections in each thigh
bros hard to explain on here. but when you flex your leg you see that peak part of muscle that sticks out. pin that peak part without veins
 
I see what you’re saying, that’s where I inject. Going to experiment with ventro glute for the next couple shots and see how body tolerates that
I use standard 27g 12.7mm Insulin syringes for all of my daily oil shot.
They cause the least amount of scar tissue & the oil draws easily.
I hit rear & lateral delts & the top outside of the upper quad muscle.
You are lean enough to use these Tomandjerry.
I would use a longer one for ventral glute though.

• Added cardio back in as I have been lazy the last few months with intentional cardio. 5x week 30min variation of LISS and HIIT (most LISS). Did an Ironman 70.3 December of 2024 so hard for me to go on walks or slow rides without wanting to pick up the pace.

• I play an average of 3 rounds of golf a month, so I use that as additional LISS cardio
• Started using the Hevy app today to track workouts, as I saw it recommended on a different post. Began logging workouts today and will upload screenshots periodically
• My weight and rep ranges throughout my sets may seem odd where I may use lighter weight and do very slow negatives (3-5s), especially on dumbbell movements because I’d rather go super deep and hold the stretch for 1s before the eccentric movement. Just depends on what feels better that day, sometimes the pump is better throwing heavy weight around, other times slow and controlled feels better.

Because I read hundreds of issues of muscle magazines like Joe weiders muscle builder magazine which later became Flex magazine!
My arms eventually got to 20" I have no idea what that is even in Cm lol don't care either because it was 20" lol

• Didn’t count over the weekend, but have hit within 5% margin this week so far

Notes:
• Had a wedding this past weekend for a best friend of mine so I had the rehearsal dinner Fridays and the wedding Saturday. To be honest, I drank more than I intended going into the weekend. But I had a feeling that would happen once I was surrounded by 20 college friends I haven’t seen in a while.
• I did do good about pounding water throughout the day and especially at night. Didn’t lift Friday, and it was travel day but 70% of my calories that day came from protein (minus the drinks, which I stuck to simple drinks with no sugar and didn’t do beer).
• Saturday I walked 2 miles, got a 50min lift in the hotel gym, and hit the sauna for 10min before meeting everyone to the begin the wedding day.
• Sunday was travel day (5.5 hour drive) and sleep deprived from the weekend so I didn’t lift that day either.
• Knew better than to check my bp Monday morning after a weekend of drinking and being sleep deprived still so started the week off with bp anxiety. Highest reading Monday was 165/72 and never read a top number below 152 that morning. BP was back to an avg reading this morning of 114/66 once my body was back to healthy. Exhibit A why drinking is unhealthier than steroids lol

• Tuesday was legs, decided to hit legs that morning fasted due to worried about bp so was just trying to cleanse the body. Hitting legs fasted is always a horrible idea for me. 4 sets of heavy squats and I’m cooked. Still managed to hit 3 sets of pendulum squats, 2 leg curls, and calves.
• Today was Push B, and I was back to feeling amazing in the gym. Workout attached. Plus 40min cardio (walking)

Currently 13lbs/5.9kg heavier than I was at the end of my last cut and already look better imo. Definitely much fuller looking & strength is holding. Not quite as lean yet, but think within the next 2 weeks I’ll have my leanest look and hopefully at a 10lb/4.5kg heavier body weight.

I like the Delts & Arms priority in there!
Prioritizing arms has definitely been an emphasis of mine for the last 12 months or so. I’m tall with long orangutan arms so adding thickness has always been a grind. Doesn’t help that for 80% of my training career I never used a dedicated arm day. But no excuses now

I'm also tall with Orangutan arms & I know that the struggle is real!
I have always prioritised my arms.
I never used site injections, synthol or other fillers a fact that I'm proud of, as I know that the use of it is rampant.
You can easily add 2 or 3 inches to your arms with it.. but I really do consider that cheating + it's the journey, pain, achievement of training them to get huge, now that's the big payout in my books.

I eventually got mine to 20" cold with Forearms 14.5" around
Atm they are 18" cold with 14" Forearms this is on a wrist that measures 7" around

• Didn’t track the weekend, but protein has been spot on with carbs closer to 140 most days and fats closer to 90. Bought chicken thighs that were way fattier than I thought when I bought them so f’d up the week’s meal prep.

Notes:
• Successfully kept drinking to a minimum Saturday night at the wedding, call that a win.
• Sleep was horrible over the weekend averaging about 4.5h Friday & Saturday, but bounced back with 9h last night.
• Travel day and rest day Friday.
• Whooped my brother in golf since he beat me over Easter weekend for the first time in my life and he made sure to tell everyone. Went to the gym after for a Push A day and then to the wedding.

Ok! 💫💪😜💫⚡
So since your priority is arms we are going to use something that I call a Pre-exhaust superset.
Which is doing a set of an isolation exercise before immediately doing a set of a compound exercise.
What this does is it pushes the first muscle being worked further past the point of momentary muscular failure by other muscles assisting the first muscle worked to do this.
So on your PUSH A WORKOUT, you wil do your overhead cable tricep extensions in Superset fashion with your machine chest press or weighted dips.
The weight that you use on the dips or machine press might suffer a bit at first but as your arms get even bigger & stronger, I find that the weights on both exercises catch up quickly.

On your PULL A WORKOUT do your Ez bar curls superset with weighted pull-ups or neutral grip pulldowns.
Also superset your Incline dumbell curls with Standing Alternate Hammer 💥🔨 curls.

On your DELTS & ARMS day add for Forearms & Arms at the end of your workout add -
3 giant sets (all back to back sets no rest like in the superset)
Of -
3 × Seated Barbell reverse wrist curls
3 × Seated Barbell wrist curls
3 × Zottman curls

Then finish off with -
3 × Cable tricep pushdown superset with -
3 x Cable reverse grip tricep pushdowns

Measure your arms on the same day cold (no pump) in the morning on the same day each week & record it.
This way we can see how your ARMS are responding & make any adjustments (this will be dietary adjustments not any training adjustments just yet)

Also what do you do for your Pre/Intra & Post workout nutrition?

I try to include everything I’m taking whether peds/peps/supps etc because I know when I was just scrolling forums and getting serious about hopping on gear I wanted to know all the nuance details of different guys’ cycles to mitigate any side effects/health risks. Eight hours a night looks fantastic. But yeah when you eat late, your body has to digest that food so that can definitely affect your sleep. Maybe try eating two hours prior. @Tomandjerry

• Hit the final boss of arm supersets as recommended by @koba . I’d by lying if I said I hit all 3 sets of the wrist curls, I tapped out on those after the first set and just turned it into the dual superset because my forearms were already torched since I haven’t hit forearm focused exercises in a couple years honestly. But my arms felt like balloons at the end of my workout, the added carbs from last night’s mini binge helped fuel all the volume

might want to look into DSIP. It won't help you sleep longer, which isn't what you need anyway. @Tomandjerry but it will help you sleep deeper so 7.5 hours of sleep will feel like 12 hours of sleep.

• Let the diet slip hard last night. First crashout binge and ended up in about a 1k surplus. Not upset because the body honestly needed it, I haven’t given myself any true cheat meals or regress due to the weddings and I considered the alcohol my cheat meal. Put it to use this morning with some fasted cardio and a brutal arm day (thanks for the extra torture Koba)

So I would NOT go to the gym to do that. Too many end up training when they are supposed to be resting
I definitely used to be that guy, but my rest days now truly are recovery & mobility. I don’t touch a weight (because once I do I turn it into a workout), it’s really 15min of foam rolling and dynamic stretches for hip flexors and low back followed by 30min of LISS and some stretching at the end. For how active I am outside of the gym, being stiff isn’t an option
 
Eight hours a night looks fantastic. But yeah when you eat late, your body has to digest that food so that can definitely affect your sleep. Maybe try eating two hours prior. @Tomandjerry
I normally have a 2-3h window from my last meal before I sleep, but the late night cheat on the diet tossed that out the window. Definitely notice the sleep impact when I eat close to bed

I have been back and forth on whether to give DSIP a try, I’ll trial run and see how it affects my sleep score and how I feel. Thanks for the recommendation

Arms looked huge while training, was definitely a great pump. I have yet to try the 8 hour rich arm day, but he definitely had some of the freakiest mass monster arms. Still an all time favorite

Got bloods from this week. Total test maxes out at 1500 ng/dl and Free Test maxes out at 327 pg/ml on this test. Primarily just use it for estrogen and health parameters.
Going to start taking Calcium D Glucarate 2x/day to help with estrogen but with the plan of upping test in the next couple weeks, I think the inevitable jump to an ai is the next step as Test will go from 350mg/wk to 400-450mg. Thoughts on starting dose to not crash e2 off rip

Bruv if the last pic 📸 that you posted is a recent one & those bloods coincide with it. If I were you I wouldn't be changing anything unless you are feeling like total crap from the estrogen. But if you aren't, then in that pic you don't have enough fluid retention on you to justify lowering you estro.
Estrogen is good for growth, health, mood etc & is necessary for the Hgh that you are taking to be working properly (Igf1)

The pic was from yesterday’s arm day after a huge cheat meal the night before so I was feeling watery that day as is and as you said still didn’t look like I was holding much. I’ll just bump the calcium d Glucarate to twice a day to just give that extra metabolism of the estrogen but will hold off a the ai.
Never seen it that high so was a little nervous it was too high, but of course this is the first time running 350mg. Just placed an order of anavar to try out for the month of May. Split into 2 12.5mg doses

Def go the glucarate, it won't hurt anything. If you start getting watery drop me a line so that we address it.
Var will work like a charm it's a good addition to that dose of test & yes split the dose through the day/night. Doing Orals in that way gives better overall saturation in the blood for better continuous effects

I added eq to my order with the var because I was thinking the same instead of an ai to lower e2. Plan was to keep upping dosages of test so was thinking a little eq to increase weekly gear total and help lower the estrogen
Can do that bro since you are already getting it. Nothing wrong with EQ it's a good anabolic with low sides.
I wouldn't go too high with the dose in your case though.
I don't see estrogen as being too much of a problem with you right now.
I've run gear with having huge estro levels, its only an issue if you get mental, sides, big time bloated, high B.P
In your case I'm guessing that you want to look big, ripped & aesthetic ✨️ which you currently do with your estro at those levels so right now you are gtg brother

I would address your T3 first brother.
Being low like this is very common amongst Aas & Hgh use at ped doses it lowers it too much it's almost a given in most cases. I'll reply to your msg now brother we can get both the estro if you are worried about it & the T3 sorted.
