Nizoral Shampoo for acne

This DOES work to prevent and get rid of hormonal acne. BUT ... The shampoo contains a topical anti androgen that prevents hair loss when you use it on your scalp. When you smother this stuff on your skin your body absorbs this anti androgen and depletes your natural dht levels. I would not recommend this crap for anyone to use even as a shampoo, stay away .. depression, ed, infertility etc...

The anti androgen is not systemically absorbed and doesnt alter dht levels systemically at all. If it did you points would have some merit however since it does not you are worrying about an effect that doesnt and wont occur at all.
personally I am not a fan of ketoconzole for acne anyway, hair loss- yes, acne no but if it works for you for either do not hesitate to use it for fear of lowering your bodies overall androgen (dht) levels as that will not occur with a product such as a shampoo for example.

it is a mild anti androgen and only recommended to be used 2-3 tims per week on your scalp. Directed use might not have any major effects on your hormone levels but when people slather this stuff on their body every day and let it soak in for 20 minutes it will mess with you. Some people won't be effected by it but others can
