It's nice here in Carlsbad. Mid 80's, sunny and an ocean breeze. I just snuck out of the office to have a few drinks at Karl Strauss Brewery.

The Pacific Northwest is still beautiful in its own right. My family hails from the Puget Sound area and my mother resides in Portland. We were up there just a couple of weeks ago and drove out to Tillamook in the rain/fog...beautiful coastline. I've spent many a day(s) in the NW. Have you been out to the Olympic Peninsula yet? If not, please do so. You won't regret it.

It's been a mild fucking summer. We have short spurts of heat then it drops 30 degrees within 24 hours. That has me concerned more than anything. It's summer...it's supposed to be hot. We're coming up on the 4th of July and i've barely had to turn my air conditioning on. And on the days it did get into the high 90's it was a nice dry heat which i like. And this isn't Arizona where i live...this is NE Ohio near Cleveland. 10 years ago i'd be getting up in the middle of the night to take a cold shower so i could get back to sleep.
