So we go to our follow up with the endocrinologist today adn my husband tells him he doesnt feel better and the Axiron burned his skin every time he uses it (he used it as directed for as long as it lasted)and the Dr. starts telling us he doesnt believe we really used it and we were adamant to try it from the get go and we had already made up our minds about it, he told us he does not give patient testosterone shots and referred us to a urologist, I could just see my husband's anger bubbling up when the Dr started saying these things so I started to explain to him how he used it and how he's been feeling, etc so he calmed down a bit, but the Dr continued to be a douche now we have to wait another month to see the damn urologist and probably get a zillion tests and fucking convince him too that we really tried the damn product, fuck this is getting tiring, never felt so attacked or disrespected by a Dr. when we got out my husband was furious about the whole thing and not wanting to do anything else...

this Dr was kind of offended that we even did any research on our own or that we wanted a particular treatment, hence why he got so rude with us.

I call my husband's HRT doctor his "anti-aging" doctor but he has a background of dual board certification in family medicine and cardiology. As he got older he became interested in anti-aging and switched his practice. It's handy because he's checked out hubby's cardiac function just to be on the safe side.
