Free testosterone levels and SHBG

My SHBG levels are usually high. But! my free test levels are always past the reference range on blood work. So with that said, does it matter that I have high SHBG? Are free test levels much more important?

Free test is the only thing that matters. It's what is bioavailable and active in the bloodstream. Everything that is not "free" is inert.

So if my Free test is already very high. But my SHBG too is very high. Why adding in proviron makes a huge difference in how I feel and perform?

It'll do what having more free test will do. As to "how much" is impossible to say for sure.

Someone told me SHBG bound testosterone can unbind, and this is one of the mechanisms for maintaining steady blood levels of testosterone since the testes produce it in spurts. Or was I misinformed?
