Was that your first ever injection at the start or cycle/trt?
Different people respond differently and from your numbers you seem to respond well. I would have expected numbers in the 600 & 60 range or so for that dose. Be happy you can get by with such a low dose. But also be aware that since your T is slightly above lab range, without an anti-E your E will likely also be slightly elevated.
You have been on for 6 months, you likely dont have much of a "peak" anymore due to the half life of the test. Id guess your T levels are fairly stable where they are.
Can you lower your test dose? Yes. Should you? Depends. How do you feel and what do your blood tests show. If all you blood work is in order, your BP is good and the only thing slightly elevated is test and E, then just take a little Adex to get E down and ride it out. If some of your bloods are getting a little skewed then maybe drop down to 100mg a week, ride it out for a good 2-3 months and get bloods again. Based on how well you respond to T though I would say .5mg adex 3x a week though.
The reason I asked about lowering my dose is because a day and a half or so after my shot I feel like i'm on speed or something. I mean i'm zooming. This subsides by day 3 or so. It doesn't feel good. Then by day 3 or 4 I feel better. Any ideas why? Also my doc days 1mg adex ed, from what i've read here, .5 eod seems to be the norm. Any input welcome, thanks.
If your zooming id zay drop to 100mg and so if its practical to do 2 weekly injections instead of one to try and keep things a bit more level.
1mg adex ED I think you will find will be WAY too much for the dose of test your on. Your going to have to use your own judgement there and decide if you want to take that much or not but personally I would talk to him about easing into it more....unless he is just talking about 1mg ed for a few weeks to get E down BUT adex doesnt work that way. It affects the enzyme that creates E from T, it wont do anything to the E currently in your system that will just have to metabolize and decrease on its own.
Personally I would do .5mg EOD (or mon/wed/fri) and then retest E in about 6 weeks and adjust dose from there, if ya need more goto .5mg ED and retest in another 6 weeks.
