What about Shrimp, Crabs and Scallops? They ok as a protein source on a cutting diet?

yes
they are a good proteins source
low fat (don't eat the heads - rich in cholesterol)
some omega 3s
low carbs

They're great, just pricey. Believe me, if crab cost what tuna does, no one would eat tuna. :)

I didn't know that about the seafood. Damn, I love seafood too. I guess that is something that I can treat myself too, on the weekends.

shrimps/crabs/scallops are awesome because they are high protein, no carbs, and very little fat. If on any type of keto diet, then these will allow you to eat some natural PB with each meal for some good fats!! :D

Yes.....most seafood has very few carbohydrates and low in fat....

For myself I eat mainly seafood since I do not eat red meat...and any alternative to tuna is always appreciated. :D

I was looking at my bag of frozen shrimp (the little kind used for salads), and they had Zero fat, Zero carbs and 17g of protein per serving (3/4 cup I think). Too bad it costs a bitch.
