Post workout?

Is it better to take a high protein/low carb shake after a workout for bulking up? Or is it better to take a shake with more carbs in it? I'm afraid all those carbs will give me a gut or make me fat. I still wanna stay lean. What do you guys usually take post workout? Right now I'm taking the Pro Lab Whey (2 scoops = 45 g protein, 12 g carbs) with Glutamine Peptides.

Hey 5....take in more carbs post workout. We are metabolically set up to store carbs in our muscles as glycogen post workout. You will not store them in fat cells at this time. I recommend at least 65-75 grams of carbs with your 45 of protein.
 
too much science and not enough bullheadedness.. lol.. I say just crank it up and eat a ton of stuff after you workout.. leave the timer and food scale at home, and just whatever you have in front of you..
