At first I was thinkin yea if I could be 24 forever, but thinkin of losing family and loved ones over, over, and over again just isn't worth it IMO. I would like to see what is in the future, even though the world seems to be getting worse by the day.

Wrinkles, decreased brain function and gray hair are looked at as an acceptable part of aging. However, these problems may be a thing of the past since scientists at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute recently discovered a medical breakthrough that can reverse aging. Abso-fuggin-lutely. Let everyone die around me... i'd love to be immortal, love to be the "Casca" of the new age. It would be a blast, period. (because if you WERE immortal, of course you wouldn't get sick, look oler, etc. Just stay long and strong...forever. Love kids? Volunteer at the orphanage....FOREVER! LOL.

In fact, treating aging and living forever will be as easy as visiting the doctor on a regular basis!

If I told you that we're not too far off from seeing people live forever, you'd probably call me an idiot. After all, the oldest person ever was Frenchwoman Jeanne Louise Calment, who lived to be 122 years old (1875-1997). And the oldest person alive today, 115-year-old Besse Cooper, is quite a ways from reaching Calment’s longevity milestone.

Scientist Aubrey De Grey is one of the most respected authorities on anti-aging in the world, and his credentials (Chief Science Officer of SENS Foundation, editor of Rejuvenation Research academic journal) definitely speak for themselves. So when De Grey says that he believes we're on the brink of an enormous anti-aging breakthrough, people tend to listen.

Read: How to Live Forever, Age 1,000 In Your Lifetime

Unless I was like Superman, Apocalypse, Darkseid, or one of those overpowered comics characters living forever would be the same old daily grind.
True enough I would get to see new eras and human development, but that would also mean I would have to keep getting reeducated and reemployed when major changes happen.

And with my luck I'd be stuck in some tedious job just like I am now. (Very thankful to be employed though,)

And I do not doubt that aging will be fully cured in the next century or so.
Turn off the genetic switch that causes entropy and cell death and voila.

Only thing is that society will have to be totally different.
To support all of the population.

Sure your friends and family will die, but time heals all lol
whats 20 years to get over a death when you got the next 200 or even 2000 years to look forward to ???
