I drank absinthe last night, for the first time

One of my buddies had a party at his house for his younger sisters b-day. I show up and there are baout 10 chicks and 5 dudes, everyone is wasted. There is a video camera out and everyone is doing their best nasty, drunken, sex kitten act. People were dancing all nasty, chicks giving guys pseudo lap dances, etc, etc.... Some one had a bottle of absinthe, I was offered a shot, and since i had never taken it before, I drank it. A few beers later, I was still feeling OK, so i said fuck it and took another absinthe shot. Well, the rest of the night is a bit of a blur. I have a speckled memory of dancing in the middle of the living room with two chubsters, ala freak sandwhich, booty grind style. I just remembr reaching one hand to the fornt and one to the back and grabbing all over the place. I was woken up at the end of the party, I have no idea how long I passed out for or what time it was. I think I tried to bring one of the chubby chicks home and she must have said no 'cause I woke up by myself. I needed that slump buster too.

All in all, a good time. Next time absinthe is around, I'll drink it alone (no beer or other alcohol) so I can see what its lone effects feel like.

Now, I have to nurse a headache and get ready to go to work in a few hours.

Happy fathers day!

lololol...ive alWAYS WANTED TO TRY THE The Green Fairy lololol...who was that guy that cut his ear off supposivle drinking it?

dont europeans live off of that shit? it's illegal hear, for god only know why, but it is very legal everywhere else. i heard some bars in europe will limit a person to 3 shots.

that shit seriously destroys your brain and other things also. I'd never touch it.

"It causes irreparable deterioration of the brain
stem and liver, due to the powerful hepatics in the wormwood being
altered by alcohol. Symptoms begin to show within 3 - 6 months of
continued use (remember, its addictive) and begin with depression,
emotional instability, and jaundice, then progress to tremors, difficulty
breathing, erratic heartbeat, neural failure, then finally heart/lung
failure. Absinthe
was a traditional drink of poets in the 18th and 19th centuries and its
no coincidence that a) poets were considered to be mad b) poets died
terribly young (late 20's - early 30's)"

interesting.

but I would still try it. don't care if it's addicting. it's not readily available to me so that takes care of that :D

What is it exactly? Like what is it made of? I've heard it mentioned every now and again but have never truly found out what it is.
