I use a 1.5 inch, and always inject the full 1.5 inches in the leg... any reason not to stick it in that deeep, my figuring is, there is a less chance of any leaking out when I pull the needles out, also, do you have any more of a chance to hit a vein by going deeper, than say only 5/8ths of an inch? I dont see any need to use the one in a halfs unless you are injecting more than 2ccs. I always just use the one inch pins and they work fine. | ||

1" works good for me... for glutes and quads... 5/8" slin needle works good for my shoulders... ------------------ | ||

As long as it goes into muscle it is fine. A 1.0 to the hilt it fine for anyones delt or quad. Unless you are a super fatboy it should be fine. A 1.5 to the hilt is fine for any ass shot. |
