I shot a cc of sust and 2cc of prop and all went well until I pulled the dart out and I noticed that somehow there were a few little drops of blood in the top of the needle floating in a bit of oil where it screws into the dart. I'm figuring it's becuse I hit a vein on the way in, asperated (good to go) and I always push hard on the plunger at the end to get ever last drop I can in there and then it sucked back in a bit as I pulled out bringing in a bit of blood. Does that sounds reasonable? I didn't have anything physical happen to me, just curious since it's the first time this has happened to me. Later, Green Oh and it was a right glute shot... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Happens often, if you take a close look just about everytime there may be a drop or two, no big deal. ------------------ For a good time click here: Search and Profiles (300Kleens Board) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

don't even worry about it dude... it is possible that you went through a vein, or just some of the blood running through the muscle was aspirated back into it once you let pressure off the plunger... happens alot to me too, even in the glute, I sometimes shear through a vein... just make sure you don't INJECT into a vein... I haven't had a problem in my thighs though either... even though they are more vascular than the glutes... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Na, nobiggie. It happens to me 50% of the time I inject. It may happen more, but that's about how often I notice it. It has never caused me any problems. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Happens to me and in fact just happened yesterday. Most likely from the skin as the needle comes out. It creates suction as you pull out and the peircing of the skin is the source of the bleeding...hence a little drop of blood at the injection site when your done. Some blood gets sucked into the pin and apears at the base as you mentioned. [This message has been edited by Beezers (edited March 13, 2001).] ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
