 filing amps for opening....

I really need to start filing my amps, as theyre getting difficult to open..not to mention the glass shards. Anyways, what kind of files do you guys use? I was thinking a metal nail file, but i dont think the edge of them are rough. Any info is appreciated.     | ||

a tri corner file from a hardware store, the kinds that are used to sharpen hand saws. | ||

i like to use a steak knife with small serations. it takes a little longer to score the amp but its all i got available to me. | ||

My steak knives must be dull becuase i tried that. I think ill trek on down to the hardware store and try one of those tri corner files. Thanks bros. | ||

The best file by far is a micro sized diamond needle file. I bought a set of six for ten bucks several years ago. Perfect breaks every time. | ||

I have never use a file just a can opener. Just put the head in, put away from face and break the top. I do it outside so glss does not get on the floor. Never have lost one amp I am about to start primobolen and the ones I got in the actuall packaged come with a file. I think I am going to give that a try this time around |
