How are is everyone? This is my first post here but whenever Im on the net lookin for some information it always seems to end up here! so I figure Ill jump on. ohh and a question. whenever I have some weight on the bar and Im doin squats or whatever and the bar (or machine) rests on my shoulders, I get bad blood lines? like the lines you get on your face from sleepin on your pillow cept these are dark red and last awhile. you know what I mean? and I think I get them bad. I wont even go heavy and I get them?! anything I can do? I wear a reg t-shirt to cover my skin but it dosnt matter. maybe im just prone to this. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

Welcome aboard. You can either wrap a towel around the bar or get some foam insulation lagging. Weider sell a bar pad which is basically lagging with a cover. Personally I prefer no padding now but I used to use either of these methods when I first started out as I had the same problem.
