Grips for deadlifts

So I see some people doing both over grips, and I see other guys doing one hand under grip and the other over grip. Is one better then the other?

over/under and switch off every set or rep... it's optimal for using the most weight possible

chalk adds like 200lbs to my barbell grip...
i also do wrist curls, reverse barbell curls and occationaly hammer curls to work my forearms... not sure if they are helping much...
i do static holds on my last sets of deadlifts, or sometimes on a day where i feel like doing them out of a rack, and i feel these help quite a bit...

Are there things you can do to strengthen grip? beyond the over/ under grip?

When you are deadlifting, use a double overhand or hook grip until you can no longer hold on to the bar.

If you have access to an axle, use that to deadlift.

Try and get yourself a "blob".

Work on picking up 45's by the hub.

Pinch two steel 45's together so the smooth sides are facing out, and pick them up & hold for time.
