Anxiety is felt to be related to GABA-ergic transmission in the brain. For some time, it has been known that some steroids, particularly boldenone (eq) and stanazolol (winny), affect GABA receptors in the brain. GABA is considered predominantly inhibitory, i.e. a "chiller". EQ can strip the brain of its natural chillers, GABA, creating waves of panic as you experience and describe so eloquently. Some people are born without sufficient GABA-ergic transmission, predisposing them to panic attacks such as you experienced, but in the absence of any externally administered drug. If you external stress overrides your GABA-ergic transmission, you will panic. So some only develop panic after a traumatic event. You probably had sufficient GABA-ergic transmssion for everyday life, but you were closer to that critical line than you thought, so when EQ stripped your GABA, you were pushed over that edge into panic. Some people are very far from that edge, so they can take a gram or two of EQ, strip their receptors, and still have no problems. Treatment options include benzos (which directly enhance GABA-ergic transmission, but have terrible tolerance and addiction potential and are NOT recommended), antidepressants (which by influencing serotonin and norepinephrine can enhance GABA-ergic transmission or simply screen more external stress through their mechanisms), and lastly DON"T DO EQ. This last one is simplest and best of course. Try EQ much later and 400ew, with confidence and a calm mind. Good luck.

funny you mention winny, i did winny in the summer and felt great while on it, kind of like a drunk high, however coming off was a vurtual nightmare, i had major anxiety and depression to the point where my knee's would buckle and almost give out..i did run it for 13 weeks though. liver values all test good. my next one is either npp/winny or tren/winny for 6 weeks...i fried alot of lbm dieting so its time to make up

@ Georgie.........we've had this discussion before........many times in fact.

Your adrenals being what they are pretty much guaruntee you to have contraindiciations to anything..........zoloft, AAS, whatever......

I think you are borderline psychosomatic disorder, due to the fact that you have reactions to just about anything you take and it's my perception that you've got some serious anxiety/depression issues.

how long does it take to kick in? are the side effects bad? tell me a little about it

Personal experience was 2 weeks to kick in fully. I found it to be much weaker than Lexapro too. Lexapro and Zoloft both will have you with diarhea for a little while but the body adapts. The digestive tract is very similar to the brain in some respects when it comes to SSRI's. They work on the brain and they can work on the bowels just the same.

Psychosomatic is a condition in which the affected party perceives they suffer from a multitude of physical ailments when in reality it's only them thinking they do, thus a self-fullfilling prophecy. They think they suffer from anxiety, so they do. They think they have adrenal issues, so they do.

I could be wrong, but you do seem to have alot of ailments for someone so young.
