zma good for bulking

The main ingredient in ZMA is the zinc, that's where they make their claims about testosterone levels. What I do is just buy regular Zinc pills of 30mg of either glucartate, monomethane, or aspartate. That's all you need before bed.

As far as the magnesium goes, what ever happened to the other minerals? Did they all of a sudden become less important? Why not invest in a good multimineral so you have a broad spectrum of all the minerals you sweated out? Then just use a little extra zinc at night.

Don't fall into the cloud marketers use to veil their products.
 
I already take a multivitamin, as well as extra C, pantothenic acid, atioxidants, just wanted to take something like ZMA before bed from what I've read.
 
ZMA also contains vitamin b7.
I used to make my own ZMA at home
I forget the exact ratios, but I would take 2 zinc, 1 B complex and about 5 calcium Magnesiums. You want to take the calcium either a few hours before or after the zinc and vitamin B cuz it massively slows absorbtion. The vitamin B makes your piss turn neon yellow... Its cool :)

You guys are right-ZMA is just a hoax to line Victor Conte's pockets. Just take regular magnesium and zinc for the same thing.

ZMA contains Vitamin B6 (PYRIDOXINE) - rather than B7 (BIOTIN)

ZMA= Zinc:10mg (Monomethionine/Asparate)
+ Magnesium: 150mg (Aspartate)
+ Vitamin B6: 3.5mg
