'Zack and Miri' Banned in Utah

It 's Utah's loss. Zack & Miri is the most HYSTERICALLY funny movie Kevin Smith has made since Clerks. My friends and I had tears streaming down our faces for half of the move. It was ridiculously funny. I highly recommend everyone go see it. It is more than worth the price of admission.

I honestly think it's kinda gay to not show the movie.



There are other movies they have shown that are worse in other ways.



If people don't want to see it, they won't see it.


I think LHM refuses to make money from a "sex" film.

Yeah I agree. I think it's pretty weak that he pushes his beliefs on the public like that. But at the same time, most theatres here don't show those mormon movies that come out. Not like Larry's hurting for cash and needs to sell his beliefs out anyway.

I don't think he is pushing his beliefs on the public at all by doing this.

He told the theatres they weren't gonna show it. Then the media gets wind and makes a story about it. That's all.

He hardly was intending to highlight hs being LDS publicly by doing this.

If he was, then that's lame. But I don't think he was.

Meh, well whatever. It's not a huge deal. People can still go see it. All it means it heighten business for other theatres for the movie. I don't think they'll complain.

I'll just say anyone that believs in organized religion needs some meds.

Utah itself is a great place, and the only time any of the religious or political stuff gets to people is when they let it. More things stay open here on Sundays than when I go home to PA to visit.
