Hey all :)

I was just messing around my kitchen, trying to think of something I could have for dessert that would jive with my diet, and I came up with something very yummy! It tastes just like pudding (Jello-style, creamy and thick), try this recipe:

- One scoop of vanilla protein powder (don't know how this works with whey, I use soy)

- 1/2 tsp cinnamon

- 1/4 tsp nutmeg

- 1 tsp vanilla extract

- 1 tsp glycerol

- enough water to mix to desired consistency

Dump a scoop of protein in a bowl. Add the cinnamon and the nutmeg, stir lightly to mix them together.

Add a little cold water, mix it in, keep adding until your protein reaches a pudding-like consistency. Add the vanilla and the glycerol, continue stirring until they are mixed evenly.

I made some, and liked it so much I made a double batch and divided it into smaller portions and put them in tupperware in the fridge to have as dessert whenever I crave something sweet.

yikes i would actually have to get into the kitchen for a prolonged period. ouch :p

ill just stick with the ice cubes and prot powder in a blender :D

try this:

mix egg whites with protien powder and cook them like pancake - just like a pancake with very little carbs. but cinnamon and equal or whatever on them, sugar free syurp

Ill give this a shot tonight..

Right now I am using EAS's Simply Whey Vanilla and Choclate.. both are pretty good so well see.

I might drop the cinnamon and just add a packet Equal because I am not too crazy about cinnamon so well see..

:D:D

i think it matters on the protein powder?

I would think so, whey always tends to be so granular/dusty/floury... the whey I've tried in any case. And I'm lactose intolerant, so I'm way happier with soy. I wonder if this might be why DStock's pancakes turn out so well :) I am going to try to make those for lunch. I'll let you guys know if D's recipe works with soy also... I sure hope so, they sound good!
