Your views on genetic limitations and AAS please...

Hi guys

I been reading some articles on genetic limitations from google searches and bascially for instance, if you're 5ft 3'' (a short ass) then you'll never be able to be a hardcore BB and may have to resort to AAS. Because you're small and are limited to how much your muscles can grow as compared to a taller person who can carry more meat!! Its depressing to say the least.

So I would like to hear your views on this subject and also how AAS can assist in more muscle growth and break those barriers of genetic limitations.

All views are greatly appreciated
Thanks :wavey:

I took five years off from AAS use and dropped from 250lbs to 225lbs with same BF percentage over 3-4 years. I consider 225 my genetic limit, I'm now back up to 250. Also, the more you exceed your egnetic limits the worse your gains from AAS, they have limits, even when combined with other drugs, which is the reason you don't see 400lb ripped bodybuilders.

My view - sure, genetic limitations are real.

Well bro, that means I abit stuffed, that means the chances of competing even on a local amateur level is slim to nil. Oh well, never mind. :bawling:

You missed the second part of my reply: However, 99% of the time the concept is used as an excuse...

Don't use that excuse bro.

I hear ya bro, dont worry I wont give up and I dont do excuses anyway. Nothing is impossible in my books, although sometimes little things like that kinda kills you little bit.

Well SM, thanks man. :)

BTW, I'll be posting some pics soon so keep an eye out and let me know what ya think.

Height has ZERO do do with how much muscle one can pack onto his/her frame. Look at Lee Priest.

Thats true, Lee Priest is my idol cos he's short like me, well I'm abit more shorter. And I think he's got one of the best physiques around and yet his placings does not reflect his physiques cos apparently the judges mark him unfairly cos he's short!!

But yeah, AP, you're right about your statement though.

Somebody who's short has a much better chance of succeeding in BB'ing than a tall guy. Someone 5'4" may only have to add 50 lbs of muscle while someone 6'4" would have to add 100 lbs. Which is gonna take more time?
How many Mr. Olympia's do you know over 6'2"?
ZERO!

Very true, I'm seeing the light now. BTW, I'm 5ft 3.5'' (bit of a shortie) lol!
